Thank you to all who have read receintly of the plight of the brave members of the F.D.N.Y , and have decided to step up and assist. Much news has broken over the past few days, and not all of it bodes well for the members who are ill & injured from our time at the W.T.C. But we want to take a moment to welcome our new friends , and again thank you all for your loving support. Keep your heads up, this battle will soon be over and good will win!

Firefighting is a noble calling. The men and women who answer that calling willingly put their lives on the line for their fellow man, each and every day.

It has been recognized that firefighters are exposed to many hazards and that exposure often leads to serious illness and injury.

After losing 343 members on 9/11/01, the death toll continues to climb. Many of our Brave members who worked on the "pile" in an effort to recover civilian's and firefighters, have now become ill.

We cannot carry out the important work of taking care of our ill/injured Brothers and Sisters without your help and support. We are a recognized 501 C 3 tax deductible organization. Your donations will assure our continued success as we look to care for the welfare of our ill and injured " brothers in battle".

Mission Statement

The mission of The New York City Fireighter Brotherhood Foundation is to provide FDNY members and their families assistance in times of serious illness or injury.

The New York City Firefighter Brotherhood Foundation will focus on self reliance , firefighters helping firefighters. We will accomplish this with financial assistance along with moral and physical support. We can provide strength , comfort and guidance to any F.D.N.Y. firefighter or their family member who has taken ill or suffers from a serious injury. Our foundation will strive to obtain and have on hand the necessary information that is needed in a time of crisis.

We will carry on the tradition of leaving no man behind. With that in mind , we will educate members as it relates to their health and welfare. Our foundation will also promote awareness of the illnesses that we all face together.
